WHAT? 2 flat beef steak (ideally beef round steaks)
1 red onion, 5 garlic cloves, chilli
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
2-3 tablespoons plain flour
1 bunch of parsley
Paprika
1 glass of white wine
1 ½ cup of extra water
Paprika Salt, pepper
Balsamic glaze to seve
HOW TO?
1️⃣Pass the beef a few times through the flour. In a medium pan fry the beef in olive oil for two minutes each side. Remove the meat and add to a casserole dish.
2️⃣In the same pan (with the olive oil) in low heat sauté black pepper (add a few whole peppercorns) chopped onion, chopped garlic and chopped chilli. After two minutes, add the white wine and let all alcohol evaporate for two minutes.
3️⃣Add the contents of the pan to the casserole dish (where you’ve left the beef), add and extra glass of water and close the lid. Let it cook at low heat for two hours.
4️⃣After the sauce has thickened, add lots of chopped parsley, paprika and serve with a hint of balsamic glaze and feta.
