Burger in filo

WHAT?

300g. Mince (mix of lamb, beef and pork add flavour)

1 onion, 2 garlic cloves, chilli

Tablespoon of olive oil

Tablespoon of Greek yoghurt

Parsley

Tablespoon of honey

Tablespoon of red wine vinegar

Pepper, oregano, salt

70g. Grated feta cheese

4 filo sheets

Olive oil, sesame


HOW TO?

1️⃣In medium heat, sauté the onion, garlic and chilli in the olive oil for three minutes. Add the honey to create a caramel for 1 minute. Off the heat.

2️⃣In a bowl mix the mince with vinegar. Add the parsley, Greek yoghurt and cheese. Grate pepper and add oregano. Mix well.

3️⃣Take the first filo. Brush some olive oil at the edges. Add the mince in the shape of burger. Spread the caramelised onions on top of the mince. Lay the second filo on top. Fold the edges. Same for the other burger.

4️⃣Brush olive oil on top and sprinkle sesame seeds. Cook in pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
