Courgette flowers saganaki

WHAT?

10 courgette flowers

100g. Feta cheese

2 cloves of garlic, chilli

Pepper, thyme

2 heaped tablespoons of plain flour, 3 tablespoons water

a drop of red wine vinegar, olive oil for frying


HOW TO?

1️⃣Clean carefully the flowers and remove the stem. Crumble the feta with a fork, add shopped chilli, garlic, thyme, pepper and vinegar.

2️⃣Stuff each flower with 1 teaspoon of the mixture and close. Make the light batter with flour and water and lightly run each flower from it.

3️⃣In olive oil fry all the flowers in medium heat 4-5 minutes each side. Some of the stuffing will come out - we don’t mind. That will create the effect we need.
