Greek sausages rolled in a pastry

WHAT?


2 Greek sausages

1 onion, 3 garlic cloves

1 chopped tomato

Little sugar

Chilli

1 red pepper

½ lemon juice

Parsley

Crumbled feta (about 50g.)


Pinch of salt, pepper

Oregano For the pastry

100g. Flour

60ml. Water

Pinch of salt

1 teaspoon vinegar Sesame for topping

HOW TO?


1️⃣Make the pastry. Mix the water, flour, salt, vinegar. The pastry will be elastic but not sticky. Let it rest for at least half hour.

2️⃣Chop the, chilli and the onion and garlic and add the sausages whole. Cook for 2-3 minutes each side. 3️⃣Chop the pepper and add in. Add the lemon juice and let it evaporate.

4️⃣Blend the tomato and add in. Add the sugar. Let it cook to reduce the sauce (10 minutes). Take off the heat. Add parsley, pepper, oregano and crumbled feta.

5️⃣Roll the pastry in two sheets. Add a sausage and half of the sauce in each and roll. Brush with olive oil and add sesame. Place in greased tray and cook for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
