WHAT? 6-7 big pears, sliced 400g. Sugar 1 teaspoon honey Handful of almonds 2-3 saffron stamens 1-2 teaspoons of lemon juice 1 cinnamon stick HOW TO? 1️⃣Slice the pears and remove pips. Place in a bowl with lemon juice and water, whilst cleaning so they don’t go brown. 2️⃣In a large saucepan add the pears, cinnamon, almonds, sugar, honey, saffron and lemon juice. 3️⃣Cook at medium heat for 50 minutes. 4️⃣Enjoy this beautiful preserve over ice cream or Greek yoghurt.
