Clams in ouzo

WHAT?

500g. Clams

1 teaspoon tomato paste

Fennel, fennel seeds

Onion, garlic, chilli

Pepper

Shot of ouzo

1 tablespoon of olive oil

Juice half lemon

Parsley to serve


HOW TO?

1️⃣In a hot pan sauté in love oil the fennel, fennel seeds, onion, garlic and chilli for 2 minutes.

2️⃣Grind pepper and add tomato paste to let it give its aromas.

3️⃣Splash the ouzo and let the alcohol evaporate. Add the clams, close the lid. Move them in the pan and cook in medium heat for 3-4 minutes. 4️⃣Open the lid, stop the heat and serve with lemon and parsley.
