My lagana (special Clean Monday flat bread)

WHAT?

170g. Plain flour

3/4 teaspoon dry or 7g. wet yeast

100ml. Tepid water

pinch of sugar, pinch of salt

sesame seeds


HOW TO?

1️⃣Activate the yeast with water and sugar. Leave for 5 minutes. Mix flour and salt.

2️⃣Pour the water mix to the flour and mix well. Leave sealed to rise in a bowl with cling film.

3️⃣After two hours knead again an make a flat bread and leave in warm place for 2 ½ hours to rise. 4️⃣In grease proof paper, make a flat bread and add lots of sesame seeds. Cook in oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees preheated oven.
